Josee Lemonnier was born in Montreal Canada to French Canadian parents. When she was two years old she emigrated to Culver City, California. Always feeling her future was in the theatre, she studied Set Design and Costuming at San Francisco State University. She has never treated the set as an extension of her own personal taste but as part of a design concept. This design concept is based on the script and the show runners’ vision, which set the style and tone of the production. She has done work both in single and multi-camera. Early on she took part in the creation of iconic shows  like “All That “, “The Amanda Show “and “Drake and Josh.” She has always loved designing for the television world because of its creativity and visual demands.

In 2018 she won an Emmy nomination for OUTSTANDING ART DIRECTION/SET DESIGN/SET DECORATION/SCENIC DESIGN for her work on the Netflix show “Prince Of Peoria”
